Building movements in the informal economy: Lessons for advancing labour rights in the circular economy

This briefing is designed as a resource for social partners and other stakeholders working on the labour dimensions of the circular economy. It aims to better equip these actors with lessons they can use to advocate for workers engaged in circular economy activities in informal economies across value chains; to ensure their voices are heard in national and international policy dialogues shaping the future of the circular economy; and to ensure that labour rights are extended to them.
