What are the opportunities of the circular economy in the build environment?
The WasteBuild is the only event dedicated to the international architecture, engineering and construction community and to specifically understanding the opportunities that the circular economy brings. It is the first and only international built environment event with the dedicated ambition to eliminate global waste.
Today, the construction process accounts for 40% – 50% of all materials used globally and for 20% of the waste created. Increasing public awareness and an appetite to tackle waste in all forms is encouraging the adoption of robust circular economy roadmaps across all governments, with innovations in the built environment critical to every plan. This movement away from the old linear ‘take, make, waste’ approach towards a circular economy is backed up by regulations, standards and initiatives.
Combined with the stand-alone conference programme containing 50 of the world’s leading experts, WasteBuild will showcase over 100 sponsors and exhibitors who are innovating and inspiring with new circular building materials and techniques.
Learn, be inspired and do business at WasteBuild 2019 and make sure your organisation is maximising the opportunities of the new circular built environment. As a partner of the event, we look forward to seeing you in Amsterdam at the WasteBuild 2019!
