Circle Economy is a proud partner of ‘The Circulars’, one of the largest circular award programs that is now open for submissions. The Circulars is initiated by the Forum of Young Global Leaders and offers recognition to all individuals and organisations from commerce and civil society across the globe that have made a notable contribution to driving circular economy principles. The awards for 2016 will be presented in a ceremony at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos in January 2016.If you think your organisation should run in this competition, please submit your entry by 30th September 2015 via this link. If you want to be considered for the People’s Choice Award your entry must be submitted by 1st September 2015. CategoriesThere are seven entry categories and a “People’s Choice” award winner as voted by the public via the website. Three awards will be given to circular companies of differents sizes (multinational, enterprise and entrepreneur). Next to companies, awards will be granted to a circular city/region, an investment body which is providing financial backing for the circular economy to become mainstream, an individual who has demonstrated inspirational leadership in the journey towards a circular economy and an organization or public sector program that is disrupting business as usual by using digital technologies to enable the circular economy.An additional award category is the People’s Choice Award that will be won by the entry that receives the most public votes, via polling on the website in Autumn 2015.
