You can register as a team or individual with a new or existing (start-up) project. The best 50 entries will be invited to the kick-off meeting on 29 June 2015 where they can pitch their ideas to a jury. The jury will select the top 20 ideas. These finalist will receive an initial budget of €10.000 and enter 'the Urban Accelerator', an exciting and tailored program that runs from September 2015 until March 2016. The three winners will be selected on 14 April 2016 during the Innovation estafette and receive further funding of a total of €50.000.The Future City Challenge (Stad van de Toekomst) is an initiative of the Agenda Stad and the Innovatie-estafette2016 in collaboration with Pakhuis de Zwijger, Kennisland and Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO).
